Redsail laser engraver adopts a domestically sealed carbon dioxide laser tube. The gas capacity in the tube is certain, and it can lifespan is 1,000 hours approximately. The service life can be divided into four stages (with an average of eight hours of operation daily).
The first stage: At an excellent performance, during this time the laser tube is in a stable state and at its peak in all aspects, it can last about two-three weeks.
The second stage: The stable period, at this time the laser tube is in a stable state. Operating at a consistent current the light intensity might be slightly weaker than during the first stage. In the stage, the performance of laser tube is performing a good and consistent job. It lasts for 2-3 months approximately.
In the third stage: The declining stage, after a long period of use, the indicator of the laser tube is declining, and the light intensity becomes weaker. During this part of the life cycle, you can slow down the speed and increase the current of the laser engraver, to meet your requirements for your requirement.
In the fourth stage: The depletion period, the life of the laser tube ended. It’s time to replace the laser tube with a brand-new one.
From the life cycle of the laser tube, we can derive that the length of the stability period is the key point. The good or bad maintenance will directly affect the length of the stability period.
- The operating environment should be suitable, with stable power supply voltage. If the voltage fluctuates largely, there should be a regulated power supply configurated. The machine should be placed in a stable place, avoiding an environment with large vibration and humidity.
- The laser current should be no larger than 20mA. While, when meeting the requirement of engraving depth and speed, the light intensity should be reduced as much as possible. 13-17mA is strongly recommended.
- The laser tube will be heated up during continuous operation, thus, it is required to maintain the quality and capacity of the circulating water.
For quality, ensure the water is clean and free of sundries, and the circulating water should be replaced regularly, once two days. During changing water, the machine should not be operating.
For capacity, you need to guarantee the circulating water is sufficient (above 20kg) and ensure the water's temperature is 5-25 degree Celsius.
