Choose your wood: Laser engraving works best on natural woods, such as birch, cherry, maple, or walnut. Avoid using engineered wood or woods with a high resin content, such as pine, as these may produce undesirable results.

Set up your laser engraving machine: Adjust the laser's power, speed, and focus based on the wood's thickness and the design's intricacy.

Load your wood: Secure the wood piece onto the laser bed, ensuring that it is level and stable.

Clean up: Once the engraving is complete, remove the wood from the machine and clean it with a soft cloth. Sand the surface again if necessary to remove any residue or scorch marks.
