Regular Maintenance of Laser Engraving and Cutting Machine

1.     Lens Cleaning: Regular cleaning of our lens is rather important, to ensure the process is performed efficiently and the final effect of the materials is up to standard. Thus, the Redsail professional suggested that weekly cleaning is needed. However, there are cases where you need to increase the frequency of cleaning, according to the intensity of the equipment worked. Therefore, customers who process materials like wood will need to perform cleaning more regularly.

2.    Rail Care & Maintenance: Regular lubrication on the rail is recommended, at least once every 6 months. Customers who process materials like fabrics, leather, and plush, should pay more attention to maintaining the guide rail. It is best to clean and maintain once after the process on the same day.

3.    Water Cooling System (for glass tube machines): Regular replacement of cool water to cool down the laser. Users of water pumps need to make sure that there is no debris in the water. Once the debris is present, it will enter the laser tube, which may cause the laser tube to fail to emit light. During summer, it is recommended to change the water on a more regular basis. We suggested replacement once every two weeks to ensure normal operation of the laser machine.

4.    Intermittent Use & Maintenance (especially for school customers): If the equipment is not used for a long time, it is necessary to drain the water in the laser tube and wrap the equipment after usage.
